Orchard Plow

Orchard Plow The Bigham Brothers Orchard Plow is the perfect tool for your orchard, vineyard, or other acreage. The curved shanks can be equipped with sweeps to undercut surface growth and can be used as an incorporator as well. In addition the shank may be mounted with a point to allow deeper penetration. The end shanks can be replaced with a straight shank and furrower to make water furrows as you cultivate. The Bigham Brothers Orchard Plow is built to our tough standards. You can expect years of service even when using it for several applications in tough field conditions. The narrow frame makes this plow ideal for tough jobs in tight places.

Standard Features:

Durable frame available in 8' and 10' lengths are constructed from 4" x 4" x 1/4" tube and heavy plate steel. Lower bars are spaced on 20" centers. (front to back)
Heavy Cat. II 3-point hitch includes bolt-on welded Pull points. Bolt-on Top Link is constructed from heavy plate steel. Pins are zinc plated for rust resistance. Other size hitches available to fit any size tractor. (See page D-1)
High carbon steel shanks: 1 1/4" x 2" ; 26" clearance (Adjustable from 8" to 11-1/2" centers on the frame. See page B-5
Durable, economical two piece Ductile Iron clamps are virtually indestructible. Spring-loaded clamps are available for rocky conditions. See page B-8 for spring and rigid clamp parts diagram.
