NH₃ Application Accessories

Bigham Brothers offers a line of accessories for the application of anhydrous ammonia, fertilizers and other chemicals. Nurse Tank Hitch-Standard

Nurse tank hitch is a simple but effective method to couple anhydrous ammonia tanks to three point equipment.

• Mount bracket is split to allow mounting of shank or other accessory in the center of the tool bar. Bracket is constructed from 3x3x1/2" angle.
• Clevis is constructed with heavy wall tube for pivot and 1" plate for the tongue.
• Standard hitch fits 4x4" bar. Other sizes are available by custom order.

E-Z Attach Nurse Tank Hitch

E-Z Attach tank hitch makes one man attachment of NH3 tank tongues to three point equipment quick and easy. Latch pin may be raised with one hand so that pull arm may be extended front to back up to 6-1/2". Pull arm will also swivel side to side to facilitate alignment with tank tongue. Once the tongue has been pinned, the three point application unit may be backed in order to lock the latch pin for operation.

• Standard tongue length is complementary for most applications. Extended tongue has been specifically designed for use with bed conditioners.
• Mast braces stiffen the structure and support the tongue housing.
• Standard hitch fits 4x4" bar. Other sizes are available by custom order.

Fertilizer Adaptors, Shanks and Knives

Heavy components will complete your application tool to your specifications:

• Shank adaptor plates are cut from 1/2 x 3" plate. Slotted holes will fit virtually any knife pattern. Plated 1/2" bolts, nuts and washers complete the assembly.
• 1x3x20" Shank will work for most applications. Premium alloy shanks are also available for heavy applications or special positioning (side or rear offset).
• Knives may complement precision placement. Front knife has a carbide point to provide long wear. Backswept knife features hardfaced leading edge.
• Clamps are available for any size tool bar.
