Subsoilers: RowTill Ripper - Parabolic Ripper Shank

Prepare a controlled crop environment by deep tilling and preparing a seedbed in one trip with the RowTill Ripper. This tool gives you the advantages of precision applied deep tillage zones to remove compaction and hardpan, while leaving traffic zones firm. The RowTill Ripper also concentrates tillage in a specific area to leave protective residue strips intact in bed planted crops, ridge till or other reduced tillage crop systems on virtually any row spacing.

The RowTill Ripper tills the soil for better crop growing conditions and increased water holding capacity, firm and prepare seedbeds for optimum planting results and allow for placement of fertilizer and herbicides. This tool was designed to comply with federal erosion control regulations while providing the advantages of combined field operations to reduce field trips.

Standard Features:

• Heavy Diamond Mast Toolbar Frame is constructed from 4x4x1/4" tube with 4x4x3/8" front bar.
• Spring Loaded Swivel Coulters with 20" fluted blades each have up to 1200 pounds of residue slicing pressure.
• Parabolic Ripper Shanks have 32" frame clearance for ample plowing depths. Shanks are equipped with chromium carbide points and are hardfaced on the leading edge. Fertilizer delivery tubes are installed on the rear of each shank.
• Double Bar Clamps are constructed from 4x3x1/2" angle and provide shear bolt protection.
• Spring Loaded Covering Discs provide independent adjustment for height and blade angle.
• Extra Heavy Duty Gauge Wheels are complete with 6 bolt hubs, 2" spindles and 9.5L tires.

Spring loaded Swivel Coulter slices stalks and residue.

High clearance parabolic riper shank will break up hardpan and compaction and depths up to 18".

Ripper shank is also equipped with tube for deep application of NH3 or liquid fertilizer.

Covering Discs hill soil back into and over the tilled slot created by the ripper shank to enhance seed placement consistency.

Optional Bed Conditioner will firm the seed bed, break up clods, seal moisture and incorporate herbicides and other chemicals.

Options and Accessories:

• Bed Conditioners: 8 blade spiral basket provides aggressive action for incorporation and are equipped with heavy triple sealed ball bearings. Independent units are height adjustable and feature spring tension for smooth operation in rough ground conditions. Bed Conditioners are available with single or double spring mounts.
• Nurse Tank Hitch: Special tank hitch provides easy telescoping attachment and extended pull arm for proper tank tongue clearance when unit is equipped with Bed Conditioners.
• MegaTill Shanks: Straight subsoiler shank is protected with replaceable chromium carbide war shin.

RowTill Rippers - Four Bar Frame

RowTill Rippers Include: Toolbar (Diamond mast with four lower bars), Hitch Assy. (Cat. III /4" Drop), Corresponding quantities of Spring Loaded Swivel Coulters (with one pair adjustable offset coulters for hitch spacing), Ripper shanks with double bar shear bolt clamps, Spring Loaded Covering Discs (one pair of discs per row), One pair of XHD Gauge Wheels with 9.5L Tires and two parking stands. Bed Conditioners are pictured but are an optional item. Please specify if RowTill is for other than 40" rows. All units are priced unassembled, FOB Lubbock, Texas.

Bed Conditioners

Note: Horsepower requirements are approximately 20-30 H.P. per shank depending on soil type, condition and operating depth. Check tractor specifications for three point lift capacity. In some cases, the RowTill Ripper may exceed standard tractor lift capacity when equipped with Bed Conditioners.
